If you intend to wear your boots during colder weather and you will be wearing socks, make sure you bring your socks with you when you try them on at the store. You want to be comfortable walking in these shoes and don’t be tempted to buy a pair that is too small hoping they will get bigger with wear. There should be a little room from the top of your toe (with socks on) to the front of the boot. If your feet should swell from too much standing or as the day progresses, you would still be comfortable wearing them.
