2 min read
Art Bead Scene is acquiring its 6th Once-a-year Ornament Website Hop nowadays. I have been seeking to make some Xmas Tree ornaments for several a long time now but just didn’t get to them. So this 12 months I set aside some time. I determined to make them from porcelain clay and use some of my own texture stamps for decoration. I seemed through my stash of cookie cutters for a Christmas tree condition and identified a small just one as observed in the photo above and went to get the job done. Since porcelain clay demands a slow drying time to avoid warping, I started function on these several months in the past. I also wanted to make some greater trees for ornaments and identified a style I preferred in a steel cutter and designed the future established of Xmas trees witnessed beneath.
These were being also an experiment in glazing and I appreciate how the shades came out.
Subsequent I needed to do a established of photo transfers onto polymer clay. I selected some Victorial Floral pictures for these trees found below.
These Victorian Floral impression ornaments can be hand colored or remaining black and white. I like the quality of the black and white so I have not coloured them.
All of these ornaments I manufactured lend by themselves to becoming hung on a tree or a wreath with a simple hook or ribbon.
I hope you will visit the other blogs in this hop.
Many thanks so for stopping by.
