Six times Kate Middleton and Prince William have perfectly matched their outfits
Kate Middleton is without a doubt one of the most stylish members of the Royal Family, so it’s no surprise that her husband Prince William occasionally takes style advice and coordinates with her outfits.
The pair were both spotted visiting the Ukrainian Culture Centre in London wearing the colour blue – a subtle tribute to Ukraine.
Kate Middleton is known for dressing for the occasion and generally wears colours to respect the country she is visiting or representing.
The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a stylish Alexander McQueen jumper priced at £520, smart navy trousers and navy court heels from Gianvito Rossi while her husband joined her in a navy jacket, trousers and blue shirt with a black jumper.
The pair both wore pins showcasing the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag underneath a white love heart.

This isn’t the only time, the couple have twinned with their outfits, the couple also matched their outfits when they paid a visit to Abergavenny Market in Wales to mark St. David’s Day.
In true Kate fashion, The Duchess wowed as she stunned in an off-duty outfit where she re-wore her favourite Seeland khaki jacket which was paired with everyday black jeans and slip on brown boots.
Prince William echoed this with his very own matching green coat, black jeans and yep, you guessed it, brown boots.

On that same day the pair continued their matching outfits as they both made a quick outfit change before their second appearance of the day.
Whilst the 40 year old stunned in a midi-length green coat by designer brand Sportmax which we first saw her sport on Christmas Day at Sandringham in 2015, William reflected this with a nearly identical navy version of the jacket and they both opted for matching green roll neck jumpers.
In honour of these brilliantly planned style moments, we thought to take a look back at some of the happy couples best twinning moments from 2011 to now.
From their first trip to Canada together to more head-to-toe coordinated outfits, it seems that William has always closely followed in his wife’s style footsteps.

Whilst attending an event which celebrated the countries birthday at Blatchford Lake in Canada the pair looked as loved up as ever in matching red hoodies.
We’re no strangers to the Duchess of Cambridge dressing to fit the theme of the appearance she is making.
On the eighth day of the same tour Kate pushed William to step out of his comfort zone as they channelled country chic with coordinating western-inspired ensembles.
Kate stunned in a white blouse with blue love hearts, dark denim jeans and William complimented her look with a green check shirt, light blue jeans and they both sported white cowboy hats, brown boots and chunky belts.

In July 2016 the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a fun day out as they paid a visit to Land Rover BAR at the America’s Cup World Series.
Once again the pair dressed suitably for the occasion as they both embraced the event with matching Land Rover t-shirts.
The couple both styled their workwear with a pair of trusty denim jeans to fit in with the employee’s.
November 2017
Another matching coat moment occurred in November 2017 when the couple visited Aston Villa Football Club to see the work of the Coach Core programme.
Again, they both decided to dress suitably for the occasion as they put on their best coach-inspired ensembles with their quilted jackets.
Kate’s jacket is from high end brand Perfect Moment and has been a firm favourite of The Duchesses as we have seen her wear it on various other occasions including in 2019 where she visited a Christmas tree farm in Buckinghamshire with her charity Family Action.
May 2021
Finally, another moment where we saw Kate and William twin in head-to-toe ensembles was during the royal tour of Scotland in May 2021.
Whilst visiting the Orbital Marine Power tidal energy turbine at the European Marine Energy Centre on May 25, 2021, William once again followed Kate’s style rules as they both opted to wear matching khaki jackets, blue jeans and boots.
We know these aren’t going to be the only times that the much-loved couple will coordinate outfits, so we can’t wait to see what other matching style moments are to come.
