Tacky Holiday Earring Blog Hop
My pal Diana set out a challenge on Fb a number of weeks ago to build a tacky pair of earrings to activity with those pretty unattractive Xmas sweaters. I considered it sounded like exciting and jumped on board.
Regrettably I cannot wear earrings, but that will not halt me from making them! I wished to make earrings that I could present to my 20-a little something daughter and niece, who are always up for pleasurable.
I am not guaranteed if these are specifically tacky, but they are bit much more wild than factors I’d generally create. So grade me on my Humblebeads scale, these are pretty out there for me!
My first pair I utilised my people earring charms that were being encouraged by the designs of knitted socks. I used huge wooden beads with Czech glass and tied tinsel-ish ribbon between the beads. I could so see my daughter sporting these with a sweet pink sweater, rocking close to the Xmas tree.
I spotted these triangle frames at the craft retail store and right away believed they’d make a fantastic Christmas tree. I knotted them with Czech glass beads in in between and added a bit of sparkle for the star. These are some significantly long earrings, the tiny bits of waxed linen at the base touch the shoulders! These will go to my niece who wears super huge earrings all the time.
