If you’re caught in the rush of spring cleaning or redesigning your outdoor space for spring and summer, Santa Monica-based brand Lunya wants to invite you to rest. Founded by entrepreneur Ashey Merrill, the luxe sleepwear company recently launched a stunning capsule collection with artist Kristen Giorgi.
Named “The Art of Rest,” the limited-edition drop features Giorgi’s artwork on Lunya’s best-selling staples. Every piece celebrates self-care—which could totally mean hitting the snooze button—and the line is sure to stand out from even your chicest pajama sets.
“The notion that our bodies are truly living and breathing works of art overlaps seamlessly with the various ways we care for it,” Giorgi says. “From how we start our days, to how we unwind, and every moment in-between…”
A buttery soft silk dress that will make you look like a work of art and a washable (yes, you can toss them in the machine) pant set are just a few standout must-buys. And they look as good as they feel with a blend of neutrals hues like taupe, brown, and blush pinks effortlessly placed across the fabric.
“Kristen painted her work on incredibly large canvases so we could avoid seam lines,” Merrill shares. “We experimented with multiple techniques to fully execute the beauty of the print, ultimately landing on digital printing to capture every brush detail.”
Thoughtful and eye-catching, it’s clear that Lunya was the perfect backdrop for Giorgi’s living and breathing masterpieces. “Fashion is wearable art—it changes with the times and reflects the values of the moment,” Merrill adds. That said, Giorgi’s artsy attire will only be around for a limited time…so sit back, relax, and shop the full collection here.
